Having been immersed in the world of Bioshock 2 for the last few days, it got me thinking about the close relationship Science Fiction has always had with Art Deco.

He reinvented the Dark Knight and now it looks like Chris Nolan may be being brought in to help reinvent the Man of Steel.

SUPERMAN

Quite possibly the most famous superhero ever created, the Man of Steel has captured the imaginations of comic fans for decades.
Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, he was originally a very different character. In The Reign of the Super-Man, he was portrayed as a bald telepathic supervillain, hell bent on world domination.

Superman may finally have met his match.
And what is it that could destroy the Man of Steel? Kryptonite? No, Copyright.
A bitter row has erupted over rights to the Superhero, which could result in the character parting ways with DC Comics - his home for the last 71 years.
