Survey on Wavertree MP Jane Kennedy's decision to stand down from government

By David Bartlett on Jun 10, 09 09:08 AM in

Last night a reader suggested that I should host a poll to find out whether people thought Jane Kennedy had made the right decision when she stood down from government.

So here is a quick survey I have put together. There are only three questions so it should take less than a minute, please click HERE to take it.

UPDATE: Apologies for the link that did not work before, hopefully it's sorted now.

I thought she had been sacked by Brown for refusing to pledge allegiance to him? Have you fallen victim to No 10 spin?

Thomas,

Thanks for the comment. I'm told that it was not so much as a sacking or resigning, more that they have a conversation and Jane Kennedy says she can't back him, and then he says you can't stay then, and then she goes by mutual consent. Being sacked tends to imply that you didn't want to go, whereas Mrs Kennedy was about to resign anyway.

When do we get the results then sunshine?

Hi Tomasina,

Due to technical problems with the survey and my blog yesterday not many people have taken it yet. So Iam intending to close it so time around 7pm tonight and then post the results later this evening.
