Luciana Berger takes the fight to Peter Kilfoyle's territory
Labour's Liverpool Wavertree candidate Luciana Berger has been spotted campaigning in the constituency of foe Peter Kilfoyle MP.
What will "killer" Kilfoyle make of Berger setting foot on his Walton turf to campaign in Liverpool's Fazakerley by-election?
Kilfoyle has hit out at Miss Berger or her defenders on three occasions since her selection last month.
In the latest he responded to Cherie Blair after she appeared to defend Miss Berger by saying that candidates should be chosen on the basis of their "star quality" rather than local roots.
Kilfoyle hit back with: "We can do without such superficiality. Anyway, what is the 'star quality' of someone whose only claim to fame is to resign from the National Union of Students?"
Who will have the last word on this?

Blimey David, what a top class headline story: Labour member heads out with Labour campaigners in local by-election.
The story here, surely, is that Luciana is now well and truly part of the Labour team, and that she is working with them just as much as they're working for her.
There is nothing surprising about this - in fact good on her for not being afraid to get stuck in in Fazakerley.
A good news story if ever there was one.
Question is: has Kilfoyle shifted himself to get out on the knocker too? All the other Labour MPs & PPCs are out every weekend in this city and have been for a while. They realise its not just about the General Election, but about Council seats as well. And the reception on the doorstep has been generally very good indeed. So what about Walton? Not much sign of life there, to be frank. Kilfoyle can mouth off all he likes. But it won't postpone forever the day he gets the chop, and is replaced by someone younger, more energetic, and more in tune with the 21st century. The new emerging Liverpool needs to hasten the day when the old-style washed-up political bruisers are sent out to paddock, and we can elect intelligent leaders who can reflect our future with confidence.
