Facebook campaign launched against Liberal Democrat Sharon Green
A FACEBOOK campaign has been launched calling on newly elected Liberal Democrat councillor Sharon Green to resign after a photo mocking disabled people was posted on her Facebook page.
The picture of a group of physically disabled adults appeared on Cllr Green's site, with text underneath comparing them with the council's Labour group.
The campaign has been launched and has 146 members.

She's bang to rights. From the photograph shown, the album clearly came from the page of 'Sharon Green'. Therefore, it means her account uploaded it.
No other Facebook account could have been responsible other than Sharon Green's.
So, either she did it, or someone else logged into her Facebook account, and they did it. The second scenario seems wholly unlikely.
Mr Bradley has taken tremendously bad advice on this matter. He should have apologised on Cllr Green's behalf, claimed ignorance on his own part of Facebook (instead of trying to back her up - Bradley's political stupidity shining through once again), announced that he viewed this as an internal matter and that it would therefore be dealt with internally.
But he didn't. She should be hauled up, and kicked out.
What a disgraceful woman.
I hear the people in the shadow cabinet have had a letter from Sharon . it is not clear what it is for. I understand it was a standard letter to them all, from the Council address and sent by the council car which delivers councillors papers every thursday.
She (or someone in the Lib dem office) wrote the individual names on the top.
There was nothing personal- and probably the Lib dem office wrote it all. Where DOES she live by the way? I cant find a home address....
The whole matter is going to go on and on.
I hope someone lets the public see the letter on this blog site.
I have been shown it by my local councillor, who has a copy- and I can tell you its no apology as its does not acknowledge she set up the photo on her blog site.
Without saying she set the photo up and then lied about saying someone else did it, I cant see how she can apologise for putting the photo on the blog atall...she's just made it a whole lot worse.
She can't have it both ways!
