My colleague Liza Williams, Post and Echo health reporter, has interviewed Sir David Henshaw following his appointment as chairman of Alder Hey.

It looks like intrigue will continue to surround the resignation of Richard Glenn, project director for the rebuilding of the hospital, in protest at Sir David's appointment.

Sir David says the two have not even met before.

There is also an interesting line about him meeting up with Mike Storey a few months ago.

Great choice of picture. I see something sly and a little grizzly.

I particularly like Henshaw's fine set of antlers. That's my Christmas card choice sorted out.

This is the same Henshaw who got the massive "early-retirement" pay-off from the City Council [over £330K?] then went to run the Child Support Agency, then went off to run the Hospital Trusts and now's got this cushy number at Alder Hey. He's nothing but a self-obsessed, greedy buraucrat who'll always put his own interests above all others. A black day for Alder Hey - the Governors will live to regret this decision.

People seem to forget that Sir Diddy was the achitect of the LDL deal, which is costing the city of Liverpool millions every year - and which we are now tied into for another five years. Probably more.
For that reason alone - never mind his personal greed and egotism and his abuse of power - he should be hung from the balconey of the Town hall and the hard-pressed citizens of Liverpool given free rotten fruit to pelt him with. Or expensive LDL laptops.

Audio started playing anytime I opened this web-site, so frustrating!
I think one of your advertisements caused my browser to resize, you may well want to put that on your blacklist.
I just added this web site to my rss reader, excellent stuff. Can't get
enough!
This will be a terrific web page, would you be involved in doing an interview about just how you created it?
If so e-mail me!
Thanks, I have recently been seeking for info about this subject
matter for ages and yours is the best I've located so far.

Do you have any video of that? I'd care to find out some additional information.

I’m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s both educative and engaging,
and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.
The issue is something that too few people are speaking intelligently
about. Now i'm very happy that I came across this in my hunt for something regarding this.

This web site really has all the info I needed about this subject and didn't know who to ask.
