This Liverpool Direct Limited badge was found at one of the Liverpool council's One Stops (and then posted to me).

Surely, the badge should say "Controversial 10 years 2001-2011".

This is typical of the runbbish being put out by LDL. Such as its "PRIDE" in LDL and LDL is a great place to work. Their just one step away from do you want fries with that and have a nice day.

I hope LDL guests enjoy their BBQ and all the other events they have planned.

Its all the Lib Dems Fault. Somehow.

There's no somehow about it, Ronnie.

They signed up to this in 2001.

They never bothered controlling or monitoring it - and didn't implement any of the provisions in the JVA to do this (no Strategy Board, no performance benchmarking).

They appointed a series of directors to the Board who did not do their duty but just looked on it as an opportunity to posture and pose, asking no questions and rubber stamping everything.

They refused to release any information at all (to hide their own and officers' incompetence).

They then renewed it in 2006, signing up to a draconian termination payment. Brilliant negotiators, clearly.

Much of this is the responsibility of council officers - including those seconded to LDL. Bu they are all answerable to their employer, the Council, and in the case of those seconded to LDL, to the board of the company (including the LCC director, clearly).

But the LibDems allowed the LDL tail to wag the council dog - for ten years and just procrastinated, prevaricated and denied there was a problem.

So if it's not their fault, Ronnie, whose is it?

This isn't the 'real' Ronnie, Katie. It's a Lib Dem troll whose balls have yet to drop

Gosh, you mean to say a parody of Ronnie was taken for the real Ronnie?

But HOW could this BE? Hmmm, now let me think....

And when in doubt, report to base insults. How un-Labour. And mine's a cider x
