Warren Bradley's attempted Nick Clegg coup slapped down in comical fashion
FORMER Liverpool Liberal Democrat leader Warren Bradley has been slapped down in comic fashion as he urged party members to ditch Nick Clegg.
In characteristic fashion his email outburst has been leaked, but better still is the response it garnered from former Lib Dem Cllr Jan Clein.

Subject: IS THIS FOR REAL.......
Over 1000 hard working local Lib Dem Councillors have become 'collateral damage' since the inception of the Coalition between the Tories and Lib Dems in 2010; many Lib Dem MP's will deservedly lose their seats in the 2015 General Election owing to the part they have played in sustaining this mess; to my utter disbelief I read the attached media story from a desperate Leader of the party; a party that I had worked on behalf of for over 30 years.
I was hounded out of because I dared to speak up on behalf of real liberals and its former voters throughout the Liverpool and the country. I am glad I did what I did, I knew at the time it was right to speak up, (despite the witch hunt I have had to face) and now I hope those left holding the poisoned chalice will be strong enough to get rid of the leadership that has led to the demise of the political party that I and many others used to represent proudly.
It will take many years for the Lib Dems to recover; if they ever do I hope the leadership won't be as short sighted and realise before they embark on a personal crusade the impact of such a stupid decision.
Now let the fun begin, speak up for the lost members/voters and replace the Leader!!!!!
The media article Bradley is talking about is THIS piece in the Telegraph where Clegg says the party would do its "duty" and form a coalition with Labour if they were the biggest party after the 2015 general election.
Here is Jan Clein's response:
Warren,
You resigned because you were involved in an electoral fraud case & found guilty of perjury - if you want a reminder I can send you several links to refresh your memory.
That was the reason you were suspended from the Lib Dems, or would have been if you had been a member.
The Liverpool Lib Dem Group had already lost a huge number of seats under your "Leadership" BEFORE the coalition came into existence.
Many of us spoke out against the coalition. You aren't a political martyr, you weren't even a member of the Lib Dems (your membership had lapsed), you committed an offence. Stop trying to re-write history.
Our demise began with you & I blame the stupid & greedy people in the Group who put you in that position in the first place.
Don't send me any more of your delusional emails.
Jan Clein

I used to be a Lib Dem supporter until Clegg Joined the Public Schoolboy led condemn party. He was and still is just power hungry. When the next election comes around I predict Clegg will join the tory party along with his cronies, and the Lib dem party will cease to exist.

This is a squabble between corpses in a political graveyard over who has the tackiest headstone
And I blame Bradley for his part in the tram fiasco.
He's not a political matryr, just a very naughty boy.
@Ronnie de Ramper - What will your headstone read, that you troll a political message board? If you plan on calling my mother a corpse again - please, come and say it to my face. I would kill to see your honour.
Edward, Ronnie de Ramper isn't taken seriously - just see the manifest amount of comments and any given story on here." Ronnie" sits behind a computer screen out there, not daring to write their real name. Cowardice in short. So I wouldn't expect your request to be upheld any time soon.
The way it works is that the comment is about the article or it is about someone else's comment on the article.
Ask Cllr Laura Robertson Collins who Ronnie is...
