Sharon_Sullivan_FIREWALK-1.jpgLIVERPOOL Lord mayor jumped out of the frying pan of the town hall and into a fire walk this week.

Lord Mayors are often subjected to numerous stunts during their tenure in the hot seat. But walking on hot coals is up there as one of the best.

Cllr Sharon Sullivan did the walk of flame at Liverpool Cricket Club in Aigburth.

All monies raised will be split between the Little Heroes Cancer Trust and the Lord Mayor's Charities which are, the Merchant Navy, Dockworkers, Sea Cadets and Carers and everyone taking part will receive training by professional instructors before the firewalk to ensure their safety and instructors will be on hand throughout the event.
