Hissing Dick? Life in the Billy the Kid row yet...

One of the other notable lines in that row was his suggestion that his Liberal Democrat rival Richard Kemp was capable to crawling under the belly of a snake with a top hat on.

Apparently the BBC were out searching for snakes in Liverpool yesterday. Cue this tweet from the mayor:

I would say this row seems to have legs, but that wouldn't be the right analogy would it?

It's hard to decide which is worse - spending your time thinking up these idiotic 'witticisms', thinking they're funny (or clever, God forbid), or thinking anyone else thinks this is what our elected mayor should be doing.

We don't need a Mayor and we certainly don't need the petty minded Joe

Can you imagine the Mayor of New York or the Leader of Manchester sending such emails, tweets or pictures? That is the competition we should be looking at and they are probably laughing at us.

Imagine a business owner thinking of bringing jobs and investment here and they stumble across these emails.

What do you get when you vote labour in Liverpool ? A waster like Anderson, serves you all right.
