Christopher Nolan may still direct third Batman movie
Rumours have been bouncing backwards and forwards about whether or not Christopher Nolan will return to direct a third Batman movie.
Nolan has reportedly said he was nervous about returning for the third instalment after the huge successes of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
And there have also been suggestions that Heath Ledger's untimely death during the filming of the Dark Knight also cast a shadow for Nolan over the franchise.
But yesterday screenwriter David Goyer revealed Nolan may still return to for Batman 3 - if the right plotline was presented to him.
Speaking to IGN, he said: "Well, I believe he said if we can find the story that he's happy with, that he would return. And unfortunately, respecting Chris... You know, talk to him after he finishes Inception, which he's shooting right now. That just started shooting."
I fear if Nolan does walk away that the third Batman film may suffer the same fate as the final movie in the X-Men trilogy, which was dropped by Bryan Singer and handed to Brett Ratner. Now X-Men: The Last Stand wasn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but it somehow lacked the charm of the first two.
Fingers crossed Nolan will return to finish his masterpiece.

I can't wait for Nolan's new batman movie, the dark knight rises. I have high hopes that the third movie would surpass the last two!
