John Favreau and Robert Downey Jr to make Cowboys and Aliens
The dream team of John Favreau and Robert Downey Jnr are reportedly joining forces to produce a movie for another graphic novel - Cowboys and Aliens.
While the finishing touches are being made to Iron Man 2, Favreau has been announced as the director for the project with Downy Jnr attached to star.

The movie's script is being written by Damon Lindelof, executive producer of Lost and this year's sci-fi biggie Star Trek.![]()
In the 2006 Cowboys and Aliens graphic novel, aliens land in Arizona in the mid-1800s intent on enslaving humanity.
But they didn't bank on the cowboys, who together with the native Apache give them a run for their money.
The DreamWorks backed project is scheduled for release in June 2011 - if Iron Man 3 doesn't get in the way.
