Bryan Singer heading back for more X-Men?
Excellent news for X-Men fans, Bryan Singer has confirmed he is considering returning to the franchise.
The director, who was at the helm for X-Men and X2, said he had been in talks with Fox about a possible return.
Talking at the Pusan International Film Festival in South Korea today, he told reporters: "I'm still looking to possibly returning to the X-Men franchise. I've been talking to Fox about it.
"I love Hugh Jackman. I love the cast."
Rumours have been circulating about Singer for a while, linking him to an X-Men youth-centric spin-off, First Class, and possibly even the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
With no current prospect of a sequel to Superman Returns, could it be that Singer is angling to take back control of the franchise he so successfully launched?

With any luck they'll take the lead of some other franchises and drop X3 from the canon, perhaps through some twisty turny timey whimey explanation resurrecting everyone who was so pointlessly murdered. Hard to continue your franchise when you kill off all your key characters.
While I didn't really mind X3, I did think it was shortsighted to kill off so many crucial characters.
And the matter-of-fact way the deaths were dealt with was really odd.
What's that? Scott's dead? Oh well, moving on...
The film which I felt really needed redemption was X-Men Origins. While I thought Hugh Jackman did a good job, the script and the set pieces were a real let down.
Fingers crossed that Singers return will mean nothing but good movies from now on...
