Stellan Skarsgard joins cast of Thor
It's being reported that Stellan Skarsgard has signed to join the cast of the next Marvel superhero movieThor.
It is not yet known which character the Scandinavian actor will play, but he joins Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson in the Kenneth Branagh directed movie.
And in quite possibly the most ingenious piece of casting for a while, Brian Blessed will play Odin.
Filming begins in January and is scheduled for release in May 2011.
