Mark Webb announced as Spider-Man 4 director
Sony has confirmed that Marc Webb will direct Spider-Man 4.
The studio has signed the (500) Days of Summer director to take the helm for the next three Spider-Man movies.
Attention now turns to finding a star for the reboot, which is expected to be in cinemas in 2012.
A few names have been bandied around, including Twilight star Robert Pattinson. But with a budget of just £80m, Webb and Sony may decide to go with some unknown actors to save some pennies.
