Review: Fable III
![]()
Where to begin with Fable?
The last outing, Fable II, quite simply, blew gamers away. The depth and breadth of the in-game environment engrossed, thrilled and emotionally connected with all who played it - and set the benchmark pretty darn high for the follow up.
And so it was with baited breath I ventured into the world of Fable III, and I was not disappointed.
Set 50 years after the events of Fable II, this stupendous new adventure takes place in a newly matured Albion, a city which has been through an industrial revolution.
The fate of the kingdom is in your hands and you must rally your people and fight alongside them, ascend to the throne and rule as king or queen.

Words fail me when I try to describe the true scale of this epic action adventure. Fable III offers more ways to fight and engage with the colourful cast of characters than ever before.
More importantly it feels fresh. Every time you come back to the game, you notice a little sprinkling of magic you missed before.
Even gamers who avoid RPGs would be well advised to take the plunge with Fable, I promise you won't be disappointed.
