Zombies!!! battered my brainsssssss
My favourite time of the year is fast approaching and perusing the net for a decent spooky game I stumbled upon Zombies!!!.
Conveniently it was downloadable on my Windows phone, so I didn't even have to get out of bed to purchase it.
It's based on the popular board game of the same name, where throws of the dice determine how your player moves and fights, while character cards allow you to bolster your abilities or hinder others.

Each move produces another piece of the board, which fit together like a jigsaw to create a unique city map every time you play.
The aim of the game is very simple. Survive your way to the helipad and escape or be the first player to clock up 25 zombie kills.
Easier said then done.
When the fates of the dice are in my favour and I'm storming towards that helipad, obliterating zombies left and right, it's a great little game.
But roll a dud, then another and suddenly your zombie kill count is halved, you're back firmly at square one and the game gets switched off to save my phone being smashed in frustration.
There's nothing worse than notching up 12 kills, to be defeated and sent back to the start - with only 6 kills to your name.
As a result, games could last literally hours. Just how long I don't know I'm not known for my patience, as Mr M will attest, and my nerves just couldn't take any more.
There's a multiplayer option, which I suppose could make it more interesting, but I doubt it would make it any less frustrating.
At £3.99, I definitely recommend you giving the trial game a go first.
Gave me chills, but for all the wrong reasons.
