Marvel has issued the final panel of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man - much to the anger of some comic fans.

Funnymen Jonathan Ross and Frankie Boyle are reportedly writing comic strips for a new magazine from the creator of Kick-Ass.
Ross, who's wife Jane co-wrote the screenplay for Kick-Ass, says he has created a vampire storyline for new adult mag CLiNT which is due to be published from September.

It's been a tragic few days for the comic world after news of the deaths of two legends.
John Hicklenton, best known for his work on 2000AD and Dick Giordano, the man who helped to shape DC both died at the weekend.

Batman

BATMAN

He's already been voted the most popular superhero ever this year, but Batman just didn't have what it takes to be Geekworld's Christmas number one.
Created in response to an appeal by National Publications for more superheros, Batman debuted in 1939 in Action Comics #27.
Bob Kane's original sketches of Bruce Wayne's alter ego were of a man in red tights, wearing a small domino mask with two stiff wings jutting from his back and swinging from a rope.
