How a little white box averted a fashion disaster
THANKS to the wonders of Sky+ I have finally been able to stop wearing earmuffs in the office.
Note I didn't say "to the office" - my fashion faux pas is strictly limited to my desk, within a building without windows so there's no chance of Anna Wintour wandering past and catching a glance.
They are blue and fluffy, and now probably 70% household dust, so I was glad to be able to finally put them in the bin.
And why do I have Sky+ to thank for this?
Because the only reason I would put them on was to block out chatter about episodes of Desperate Housewives that had not yet made it to terrestrial TV.
