Once upon a Daily Post fashion shoot
WATCHING the new musical Once Upon a Time at the Adelphi last night with all its wonderful 1930s costumes and realised its been at least a year since we featured a vintage fashion shoot.
Given the credit crunch it seems a good time to do another one so, after a quick chat with the Playhouse's press officer in the Circle Bar after the show, we are - next week on the very stage that inspired the idea.
We've used a stage set at the theatre before - the 1940s Victory Party scenery used for Much Ado About Nothing last April - and it remains one of my favourites. Because our photographers don't use portable lights we have to rely on natural lighting so it's quite a treat to have a professional stage lighting operator on hand to do our bidding.
Here are some images from the 1940s shoot and you'll be able to catch the Adelphi shoot in Style City or online here from Thursday July 17.

I'm really looking forward to this. I love vintage clothes!
