HAS the credit crunch taken a big bite out of your beauty budget? We know we are certainly being a bit less liberal with the lip gloss here at Style City with all this talk of recession.
But it is possible to look beautiful without breaking the bank.
Here TV beauty expert and make-up artist Armand Beasley offers some of his top tips and bargain buys:

"The credit crunch will probably do little to change women's make up shopping habits, but now is the perfect time to re-evaluate how you spend your money - and whether the end result is worth it.
"There's probably around 75% of the contents of every woman's make up purchases that is never used. Either it doesn't suit her, she doesn't like it or it was bought on a whim, or it was a dodgy coloured lipstick in a free gift and she just can't get to grips with its application.

"Products are good products whatever their price and, while there are some amazing 'must haves' from the big beauty brands, there are some excellent high performance supermarket and high street products that, in some cases, I'd choose over the expensive option," says Armand.
"To keep an eye on the contents of your make up bag and your purse and still look fabulous, products I'm loving at the moment include - 'The Good Skin Range' from Superdrug. This range is great for all skin types especially those prone to sensitivity. There is also a soothing product for those who suffer from redness, a snip at £12 per bottle.
"M&S has a fabulous new chip resistant nail varnish out, which is very this season. I love Onyx - a black with flashes of silver - in its Autograph range, just £7.50. And a big hurrah for M&S for also doing, in their Outstanding Value range, a range of 10 really nice colour lip glosses at £2.50 a pop.
"Marks also has its Formula hand cream, a 3-in-1 treatment for hands, nails and cuticles with an SPF of 15 for just a fiver, and it's lovely and remember girls the backs of your hands can give away your age."
