AUTUMN TV schedules. After weeks of rubbish repeats the good stuff returns this month - Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty and Heroes. Set the Sky+
POWYS. A new survey puts it as the happiest place in the UK.
LEATHER trousers. Like it or not they are a key look for autumn.
CUBE. A new nightspot for Liverpool and not before time.
NOT
EDINBURGH. The most miserable place in the uK according to the same survey.
NEW cars. Sales are down more than 6.5% this year as we all tighten our belts.
GORDON RAMSAY. Southport's own Marcus Wareing's restaurant Petrus has ousted Ramsay's from its spot at the top of Hardern's London Restaurant Guide.
HAREM pants. They looked rubbish on MC Hammer and should not be makign a comeback ever.
