By Emma Johnson on Sep 30, 08 04:24 PM

SHOWBIZ Hollyoaks 4_596.jpg
SO WORD reaches us that our favourite Chester-based soap is launching its own range of perfumes -Hollyoaks Him and Hollyoaks Her.
Here at Style Towers the jury is still out on that one I mean can you imagine Eau de Eastenders or Coronation Street No.5?

A Bold move for the weekend

By Laura Davis on Sep 30, 08 10:15 AM

boldst.jpgJUST because the second phase of Liverpool One's opening this week doesn't mean we should forget about the city's independent shops.

Here at GBS we love both and, after checking out the new offering (Wagamama - yey!), we'll be heading over to Bold Street for its festival weekend.

One for the boys

By Laura Davis on Sep 29, 08 08:00 AM

WE LOVE it when the PRs for national brands visit from London because it gives us a chance to find out everything they've got in store for us here in Liverpool.

Met Topman's press officer last week for lunch and she passed us these never-been-shown-before artist impressions of the new look Church Street store.

Loving it or hating it?

By Emma Johnson on Sep 28, 08 10:00 AM

IT'S that time again here at Style Towers, we have been making our minds up on the best and the worst of the week's happenings. Check out what gets our vote and what doesn't

l NATIONAL Museums Liverpool. Our museums saw more visitors in the past two months than they did the whole rest of the year.

Height of fashion

THERE was only one thing that passed through our minds when we saw these £550 Louis Vuitton six-and-a-half inch wedges. Who or what would wear them?

They may give you serious shoe kudos but is it really worth breaking your ankle for?

Diamond's are a girl's best friend

By Alpa on Sep 27, 08 08:00 AM

LIKE most little girls, I loved my dolls. So much so, that the mere mention of the fate of my beloved Sindy and her house is probably enough to require a course of therapy. But that's another story.
As we grow up, our wants and wishes change, and many of us yearn for diamonds.

RIGHT, first things first, I am not a squeamish person. I worked for years as an auxiliary nurse and from diarrhoea to death, I have seen pretty much everything little nasty life has to offer.
However a TV programme has just stopped me in my tracks. I have just sat through the documentary Face to Face with Leslie Ash.

Mirror, skirt, manoeuvre

THIS may look like some form of 1950s curtain for your car but it has actually been invented to preserve your modesty when getting out of the car.

The Exi-quette Car Curtain has been designed by Gusto and Sheila's Wheels to help the 64% of us who have accidentally flashed as they have got out of the car

Myleen's M&S

By Emma Pinch on Sep 24, 08 08:00 AM

The new M&S collection is all very nice but did Myleen Klass get in late the day they did the adverts?

Nice-ish lace dress.... then red plastic bangles and a mismatched spotty scarf. Meanwhile the 8ft, giraffe-necked professional model gets a nice coat with a nipped in waist that would make Hetty Wainthropp look lithe and lissom.

Never mind Myleen, just think of the money.
