'Scouse icon' in new fashion TV show

LIVERPOOL'S very own Abigail Clancy - or "Scouse icon" as ITV has described her in its press release - will be presenting a fashion TV show this autumn.
Along with George Lamb (Big Brother's Little Brother) and model Michelle de Swarte, she will be interviewing celebrities about their style secrets and giving advice on how to achieve the latest designer look at high street prices, assuming she can recall life before wagdom.
Each week, Abigail and Michelle will go head-to-head in fashion-related tasks, such creating the perfect revenge outfit for a recently dumped girl - blimey!
Here are a few of her style secrets:
How did you get involved in The Fashion Show? I have a passion for fashion, I love clothes and shopping, so The Fashion Show is perfect for me. Also, presenting is the next big challenge for me.
What fashion knowledge will you bring to the series? I love keeping up-to-date with trends through shopping and magazines.
What are your top three fashion essentials? Extremely high heels, a pair of great fitting jeans and a black/white vest.
What is the most expensive item you have ever bought? Louis Vuitton thigh high suede boots. They were a bit too small, but I loved them. They cost £1000.
What has been your biggest fashion bargain? Anything for free. It's fantastic when I get freebies, especially from shops like All Saints.
Who is your ultimate style icon? I love Kate Moss' style, but I prefer plain and simple and a little bit girly. I like Eva Mendes and Jennifer Aniston.
Primark or Prada? A bit of both - it's good to mix and match. Maybe a Primark dress with Prada shoes. It's not what you wear, but how you wear it.
If you were to visit the booth of truth what would you least like to hear? Your arse looks big in that.
The Fashion Show starts on ITV2 this month. For the full interview click here.
