Capital of coiffure
AS POSSIBLY the craziest way to celebrate Capital of Culture, Merseyside's hairdressing apprentices are creating styles themed around the region's culture.
They will be shown on the catwalk at a Capital of Coiffure event in Metquarter on October 29.
Hosted by Natasha Hamilton, this ticket-only event will feature the work of 35 apprentice hairdressers, selected from more than 1,200 across the region in a series of competitions.
If these examples are anything to go by (the one above is entitled "Ferry") then we're in for a very creative evening.
Capital of Coiffure begins with drinks at 7pm, with the first of four catwalk showcases starting at 7.30pm. Complementary tickets are from 07531 958 793.
