November 2008 Archives
Here's what we think is hot and not this week:
HOT
l STARBUCKS Christmas cups. They are so much prettier than the normal ones and out now.
l SURI CRUISE. She may be just a toddler but Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter has been named the "most influential tot" by Forbes magazine.
ANIMAL pendants are being spotted on celebrities everywhere it seems - Alexa Chung was seen wearing a horse pendant and Christina Aguilera with one shaped like a seahorse.

We found these lizard and bug necklaces in Boudoir Boutique, in Cavern Walks, this week while in there to borrow clothes for a fashion shoot.
IF YOU work in Liverpool's commercial district then get yourself down to Brew Tea Bar between 12-2pm today where Molton Brown is treating customers to express hand and arm massages.
Plus it's a great excuse to check out Brew - fast becoming the GBS lunch spot of choice thanks to its vast range of teas, including a new Christmas blend which contains real pine tree.
ALMA de Cuba held a fashion show last night in memory of a mother-of-nine who died of cystic fibrosis.
Jackie Culshaw, 58, died last year, four years after she lost two of her children to the illness and was remembered in the Women of the Year Awards 2007, which is supported by the Daily Post. You can read more about her story by clicking here.

IF YOU are searching for festive beauty buys then it is worth popping along to Boots at Speke retail park tomorrow night.
From 3pm-10pm the store is hosting a Christmas customer evening with all sorts of offers including 1000 extra Advantage card points (equivalent to £10) for every £50 you spend in-store.
WHEN a friend goes on holiday and leaves me with one of the little critters, I find looking after hamsters stressful.
This is because I can never tell if they're happy or not. Apparently running around is a sign of contentment, but I'm not convinced because if I was stuck inside a ball that rolled off every time I so much as wriggled my nose then I'd end up dashing around the floor (whatever my spirits) too.
But this hamster looks pretty happy to me. He's modelling the Christmas Pudding Bed (£2.49 from Pets at Home) which, I am reliably informed, is the pet must-have for this festive season.
HERE are our judgements for this week...
hot
ROBERT DOWNEY JR. The Hollywood star has been in town this week filming the new Sherlock Holmes movie.
TOP of the Pops. The show is back for Christmas Day and New Year's Eve specials.
