Supreme Glamour
THE Supremes couldn't be rivalled when it came to out and out glamour.
Some of their dresses had so many rhinestones and sequins on them they weighed almost two stones.
The V&A's gorgeous exhibition of their iconic dresses is coming to Blackpool (obviously Liverpool would have been better) this winter, so if you want a bit of sparkle but the town's lights don't turn you on, head to the Grundy Art Gallery.
The exhibition will feature more than 50 outfits, from their humble beginnings as The Primettes to the height of their fame, when their gowns were made by famous Hollywood designer Bob Mackie (aka the Sultan of Sequins).
It will be opened by original Supreme, Mary Wilson on November 25.
