British fashion awards - what do you think?

THE British Fashion Awards took place at the Royal Horticultural Hall in London last week.

It's been a bust few days for the GBS so we've only just had a chance to check out what the guests we wearing.

Here are our verdicts...

L'Wren Scott (above)

Emma J: Fashion designer and amazonian L'Wren is rather breathtaking in this somewhat theatrical number. She gets away with it because of the occasion but don't think I would wear it to go the pub.

Emma P: One for the chaps. Super sexy, maximises L'Wren's sleek lines amazingly. The titfer pulls it out of glamour model territory and gives it a 50s feel.

Laura: I love her silhouette in this dress. Am undecided on the hat though.

Davina Taylor

Emma J: My old college pal does not look at all bad in this little ensemble. It works very well with her curves and is a fab mix of two key trends - the dinner jacket and lace. Looks like all that hanging around with bessie mate Kate Moss is working wonders.

Emma P: Frock horror, compounded by the opaque black tights. They make the lacy dress look even more like something ripped off the top of mum's table. Love the jacket though.

Laura: I Iike the jacket but it doesn't go with this dress. Mind you, nothing would.

Sadie Frost

Emma J: Oh Sadie what were you thinking in the dress? Much as I like Sadie, this dress was clearly designed for a woman half her age and is doing terrible things for her knees.

Emma P: Tiny skirts aren't always a friend to ladies in their fifth decade, so this dress is a gutsy choice. I think Sadie pulls it off. I love the girliness of the taffeta layers on the skirt but not so keen on the asymmetrical top half. There was speculation about a pair of pants "falling off" when she was getting out of a taxi on arrival; this looks like another part of her outfit has fallen off. Sort it out Sadie!

Laura: Cute dress but doesn't work for Sadie. I like her hair like this though.
