Fashion Heroes & Zeros 2008

katemossdress.jpgFASHION hero for me, is an oldie but goodie.
She hasn't been rocking anything radically different this year (day uniform shaggy/punky tops, jeans, boots, designer handbags, evening version this season 30s glamour and slinky heels) but still no -one comes close to challenging Mossy's insoucient brand of style.

Special commendation goes to Alex Curran for moving away from the most drastic of ruffle and platforms excess to her spot-on appearance in glossy Tatler as St Tropez lady of leisure.alexcurran.jpg

Now for the fun bit. Ah, so many disasters so little space. Winner this year goes to the inimitable Mary-Kate Olsen. Certainly making a fashion statement with this little number. And that statement says, I really really need to get a second opinion before ever, ever venturing out of the house in clothes of my own choosing.

Apparently the furry creature clinging desperately to M-K's forehead is by Marc Jacobs. That doesn't make it better Mary Kate.Thumbnail image for marykate.jpg

And, yes I know, it's not right to pick on the afflicted, but Rumer Willis, honestly. No we can't all look like Cameron Diaz (another year of faultless performances on the red carpets), but someone, 'ave a word. Daddy's money my dears, just can't buy you style. Thumbnail image for rumerwillis.jpg
