Getting Carrie-d away and a duff look for Duffy
THERE were many fashion highs for me this year, not least the moment when I finally managed to get my hands on a pair of wet-look leggings following the big sellout.
But I think my favourite had to be Carrie's Vivienne Westwood wedding dress in the Sex and the City movie.
Admittedly the diaphenous dress went on to help wreck the wedding but it was still a stunner.
When it comes to fashion faux pas those too were many and most of them seemed to occur at the Met's Costume Institute Gala where Katie Holmes, Anna Wintour and Mrs Beckham all got it very very wrong.
However I am giving my prize for worst fashion moment to Duffy for the hideous dress she donned to the MTV EMAs here in Liverpool.
Apparently her mum made it but really that is no excuse...
