Seasonal hots and nots
There's a definite festive feel to what we are loving and hating this week:
HOT
SELECTION boxes (but not Heroes - see below).
BARACK OBAMA'S six-pack. We expect many things of American presidents but a buff body is not one of them. Looks amazing though.
SALES. It may seem hard to believe but things are going to get even cheaper from today - doesn't help though if you are already overspent.
BEING surprised with exactly the present that you wanted.
NOT
CADBURY'S. Why have they taken out the Crunchie and the Dream sweets from their Heroes collections in favour of chocolate eclairs and Bourneville?
OVERCOOKED Christmas vegetables. The only thing worse than sprouts is soggy sprouts.
CHRISTMAS squabbling. Too many generations of family under the one roof can only lead to one thing.
EASTENDERS Christmas special. Just for once can't something nice happen to the residents of Walford.
