A year of fashion highs and lows
FROM Naomi Campbell's charity auction at Grey Space to Stella McCartney's catwalk show at Lipa, Liverpool was as much Capital of Couture as Capital of Culture in 2008.
Here are my fashion highs and lows, from Liverpool and the rest of the world.
Highs
PLUS-size model Whitney (above) won America's Next Top Model, while Kate Winslet posed naked in a stunning shoot for Vanity Fair, proving that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

FRANCE'S First Lady Carla Bruni rocked the flat shoe look - how we all breathed a sigh of relief as we realised we weren't the only ones craving ballet pumps over skyscraper heels.
KATY PERRY'S Perry's fabulous Manish Arora dress at the MTV Awards at the Echo Arena - Drome Couture in Cavern Walks has been inundated with requests for this label ever since.
Lows
ABIGAIL CLANCY in a see-through dress and leopard-print knickers at the Brit Awards.

DUFFY'S MTV Awards dress - we're big fans of the Wirral singer and it was sweet that she wore a frock made by her mum for the red carpet but it did her no favours.
