When looking stylish is snow joke

HOW do you stay looking stylish when there's snow dripping down the back of your neck? This week's guest blogger, Radio Merseyside presenter Claire Hamilton, has been pondering the subject...

TRAVELLING through a snow storm on the bus is not the most stylish way to travel to work - but I think there is something great about being able to wear an over-sized woolley hat and getting away with it.

I have always been told that I don't really suit hats - but I absolutely love them, so try to sneak in a little millinery whenever I can. Today's hat was a very subtle white knitted affair without ornament or sparkle, although sometimes I favour a corduroy number with ear-flaps which I bought my boyfriend for Christmas but which he thinks looks better on me!

I whipped the hat off before arriving at our lavish BBC Radio Merseyside studios - as I didn't want to be caught with hat hair. Hair is an issue for anyone who works in radio - as whatever style you've gone for has to be able to accommodate head phones.

One of the guests on my show last night was Liverpool based fashion designer and stylist Sara Han, who is beating the credit crunch and doing her bit for the environment with her recycled clothing range. She collects old and unwanted clothes and turns them into something fabulous and new.

She really has an amazing eye and her work is very structural and modern. She's worked for a company called Recycle Rechic and she's about to launch her own label in the city... So watch this space and remember her name!

I had a desire to make my own commerce, but I didn't earn enough amount of cash to do this. Thank God my close mate advised to take the home loans. Therefore I used the car loan and made real my old dream.
