March 2009 Archives
Forget the flowers and chocs, mums want more than a pot of face cream for a pressie. The Harley Street Medical Skin Clinic reported a 30% rise in sales for injectable treatments in the run-up to Mothering Sunday weekend weekend this year.
Bet those syringes were fiddly beggars to wrap though.
SARAH Jessica Parker and Kylie are beauty icons to many, and now they have been immortalised on canvas in make up.
The Vitality Show commissioned artist Rebekah Daley to produce portraits of the stars created entirely out of cosmetics to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary, and the artwork will be displayed when it opens at Earls Court today.

WITH genes like hers it was sureky only a matter of time before Amber Le Bon bagged her first big modelling contract and now she has.
Amber, the eldest daughter of supermodel Yasmin and Duran Duran legend Simon Le Bon has just been unveiled as the new face of luxury lingerie and swimwear brand Myla.
The stunning eight shot campaign is due to launch in store and online mid March and not only is Amber drop dead gorgeous but she is pretty brainy too.

IF THE fashion pack are to be believed this is THE new hairdo for summer.
They are calling it the "grunge bun" and it comes courtesy of who else but La Moss (yes I know I am a bit obsesed with her).
To me it looks uncannily how I do my hair when I can't be bothered to do anything else with it. Needless to say I will give it a go.
At least, unlike last time I copied Ms Moss' hair habit, this time I won't end up stuck with a fringe that refuses to gro out!
DOES no-one ever buy you flowers? Get yourself some for free by popping along to the Metquarter tomorrow (Thur) and Friday.
Florist Metquarter Flowers is celebrating spring early this week by giving away 800 free orchids worth approximately £4 each to Metquarter customers.
It is also worth calling in to check out the stunning Mother's Day bouquets they have on offer.
The store is located on the ground floor of the mall and is open through the week from 9:30am -6pm (excluding Sunday 11am -5pm.)

How do you fancy being pampered by glamour girl Abi Titmuss? Or how about Hollyoaks lads Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries?
Well, on Thursday you can because the Tracey Bell Clinic in Liverpool will be taken over by a host of celebrities who will be 'employed' for the day to raise money for Hoylake Cottage Hospital.
