New vampire show is True Bloody fangastic
FX's new Friday night hit, True Blood. already the biggest thing on American cable since Sex and the City, started a fortnight ago and we have happily let it sink its teeth into us.
Starring child actress Anna Paquin (of the Piano fame) and British hunk Stephen Moyer, it tells of an America where vampires have "come out of the coffin" so to speak to live alongside humans.
It is excellent, dark and witty. We are still trying to get our heads around Anna Paquin as a leading lady but have to say we haven't seen such hot-looking undead since Brad Pitt in Interview with the Vampire.
Although quite how Vinnie from Home and Away landed himself a lead role is a little baffling. Not that we are complaining with a six-pack like thatn and his apparent inability to keep his short on...whoa!
