2009 the year of the dress
A new style decade may have begun but 2009 was dubbed the 'Year of the Dress'.
George at Asda reported a rise in frock sales of 30% last year and almost 4/5 of women revealed a dress is top of their shopping list during a recession.
The catwalk-inspired Balmain dress, as worn by Kate Moss, racked up the longest waiting list in George at Asda history with over 1000 eager fashionistas.
