By Alpa on Jan 4, 10 12:00 PM

liztaylor.jpgIT seems that no-one can officially call themselves a celebrity unless they have their a perfume named after them.
But when Dame Elizabeth Taylor first unveiled her signature perfume White Diamonds on an unsuspecting public in 1991, very few celebrities had branched out into the scent business.

It has now been named the best-selling celebrity perfume ever and even managed sales of $67.2 million (£42m) in 2008 alone.
In second place was P Diddy's Unforgiven which made $48.5m (£30.3m) last year, while Celine Dion's eponymous fragrance was third.
