Some mad as a hatter fashion on the Alice in Wonderland red carpet
OKAY so the film looks set to be one of the biggest fantasy epics of all time but was it really necessary for so many of the guests at the premiere to turn up dressed like something from Wonderland?
We expect a kooky look from Helena Bonham Carter - who plays the evil Red Queen in the blockbuster movie but what was going on with the rest of them? In fact it is fair to say that for once Ms Bonham-Carter was far from the worst dressed star in Leicester Square.
Alice Dellal - considering she is supposed to be one of the hottest models around right now, the other Alice on the red carpet was doing a fine job of looking like a bag lady.
Daisy Lowe - Ditto Daisy Lowe, normally one of our favourite fashionistas, she appears to have come dressed as Frank n' Furter
Barbara Windsor - What was she thinking with this get up and don't get us started on the silly hat.
Thankfully it wasn't all frocky horrors, Mia Wasikowska who plays Alice in the film was a vision in Valentino couture
But the favoured designer on the night was by far Girls Behaving Stylishly's favourite Dame Vivienne Westwood. Not only did she dress stars Anne Hathaway and Helena but even the Duchess of Cornwall herself.
The punk rebel herself dressing the heir to the throne's wife...who'd ever have thunk it?
