It's bye bye lipstick buys and hello nail varnish
All hail the year of the nail! Figures for 2011 show that nail products are outselling lipsticks for the first time at Superdrug.
Last year saw 20% more spent on lipsticks and lip glosses than nail polish sales.
However, so far in 2011, this trend has reversed as the nation snaps up its newest beauty pleasure.
To celebrate Superdrug has launched a range of own-brand false nails, called Finishing Touches, to help those with less-than-perfect digits embrace the nail revolution.
