THIS month Diesel jeans, one of the world's most stylish denim brands, is celebrating thirty years in business. And to mark the milestone the store in Liverpool's Metquarter will be selling their special limited edition Dirty Thirty jeans for one day only.

IT IS home to my own stylist, so I know it's great and now Andrew Collinge Hairdressing's flagship salon on Castle Street has just been named Regional Salon of the Year at the Hair Magazine Awards in London.
Andrew says: "I am absolutely delighted. It is a testimony of the outstanding team at the Castle Street salon and the wonderful clientele we have there. To achieve this award in the European Capital of Culture year is incredibly exciting."
My personal recommendation would be salon manager Jayne Mahon, she is also up for north west hairdresser of the year. She works wonders!

WE HAVE heard some great news here at Style Towers in the past few weeks...and some really odd news.
First up, it turns out that Robert Downey Jr is to play Sherlock Holmes in a new big screen outing for the famous detective.

ALL kinds of odd things have come our way this week. We thought we'd let you know what got our vote and what gets the boot. So here it is the famous Girls Behaving Stylishly hot or not list.

l LIPSTICK Jungle. The follow-up to Sex and the City may not be as funny as its predecessor, or contain as much sex but we are glued to it.

l BORN to be Wild. It has named the best driving anthem of all time in a new survey.

SO WHAT do you make of these little babies?
They are called Snowjoggers and apparently they are "the cooler alternative to Uggs," this winter.
Hmmm, here at GBS we are not so sure about that one.

BLESS those soap lovelies. They spend their on-screen lives dressed like bag ladies so you can hardly blame them for getting a bit overexcited when an awards ceremony comes along can you?
So this week's national soap awards had the girls squeezing themselves into some of the brightest, tightest creations you could imagine.

SO WORD reaches us that our favourite Chester-based soap is launching its own range of perfumes -Hollyoaks Him and Hollyoaks Her.
Here at Style Towers the jury is still out on that one I mean can you imagine Eau de Eastenders or Coronation Street No.5?
