From 3pm-10pm the store is hosting a Christmas customer evening with all sorts of offers including 1000 extra Advantage card points (equivalent to £10) for every £50 you spend in-store.

ANDREW Collinge's Castle Street salon was transformed into a club for one night only for its fourth birthday party this week and the GBS went along to check it out.

Fashion PRs looking for intern

By Laura Davis on Nov 18, 08 03:05 PM

rarefashion.jpgWE'VE heard that PR agency that looks after Cavern Walks and fashion label Rare is looking for an intern.

To apply, you need to have some knowledge of how agencies work, as well as writing and organisational ability, but most importantly you must have a hunger to learn with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

IF YOU haven't yet got your fill of Mr Craig, Liverpool's alternative club Geek Chic will be taking over FACT's Box Cinema tomorrow (Sat) for a special screening of Quantum of Solace.

Join them at 6.30pm in FACT's Mezzanine Bar for a vodka martini or scotch on the rocks before watching the latest Bond film on Screen 1. After enjoying the film you will be invited by their glamorous hostesses down to The Box for pre-entertainment drinks and maybe a quick game of baccarat.

Relaxation hubs with giant floor cushions, orchids and chilled tunes will help ease you into the night so you can make the most of an exclusive 20% discount, pampering beauty treatments, expert style advice and a complimentary goody bag."

What Katy did

By Laura Davis on Nov 7, 08 05:19 PM

banana.jpgLAST year Katy Perry was watching the MTV EMAs in her bedroom - this year she was its most enduring image.

With enough costume changes to fill several dressing rooms at the Echo Arena Liverpool, she looked brilliant and made a great presenter.
