HAVE you ever agreed to do something that pandered to your ego and then a few minutes later, regretted saying yes?
This is what happened to me a few weeks ago when my hairdresser Mark asked me if I'd model for his salon's new website.
If the your designer shopping has taken a hit from the credit crunch, fear not.
The website www.koodoos.com has lots of designer clothes, bags and shoes at up to 70% off from names such as Balenciaga, Chloe and Dior. They even have Kate Moss's favourite J Brand jeans, at ridiculously low prices. So now's your chance to stock up on those little Christmas treats.
"We're not are we...." ventured Alpa wheeling back from the desk to reveal a black sweater dress, tights and knee-high boots.
Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! As you can see from this picture the office twin syndrome struck the Girls Behaving Stylishly again today - or at least two of us.
"We don't phone each other in the morning to discuss outfits!"
That was the cry that went out from Emma and myself as we realised we had come to work wearing very similar outfits - even down to black cardies and biker boots.

WENT to the launch of the Radisson's new spa the other day and manicurists were on hand (I know) to transform my scraggly finger ends.
The lady did an exquisite job bearing in mind what she had to work with. Base coat, which she carefully explained, would moisturise and encourage the nails to grow, two layers of pearly seashell pink, then a top coat to harden and protect from smudging.
NO THE model in this photograph isn't wearing this season's Builder Chic, she's conforming to Health & Safety regulations.
The location for the shoot was the show apartment of One Park West, which is still technically a building site so we were issued with hard hats and fluorescent vests - horror of horrors as Valerie had come straight from the salon and I had visions of her glamorous updo turning into a birds nest.

SOME of our favourite stars have been immortalised by Lego.
The likes of Posh and Becks, Brad and Angelina, Madonna and Amy Winehouse have been turned into plastic playthings as Lego celebrates the 30th anniversary of their mini-figures.
The only downside is they won't be available in the shops. Shame
REMEMBER a couple of weeks ago when we asked you to help with our friend's dilemma?
He had left it a bit later to choose a gift off his friend's wedding list and the only things left were a sterling silver salt and pepper mill for £204 each, a £19 salad spinner and a set of spoons for £15 apiece.
Well here are the results of the survey...
