THERE were many fashion highs for me this year, not least the moment when I finally managed to get my hands on a pair of wet-look leggings following the big sellout.
But I think my favourite had to be Carrie's Vivienne Westwood wedding dress in the Sex and the City movie.

FROM wet-look leggings to vertiginous heels, puffball dresses to high-waisted pants and the ubiquitous leather bomber jacket - it has been an eclectic year for fashion.
We said goodbye to a fashion legend with the passing of Yves Saint Laurent and hello to Victoria Beckham serious fashion designer (the jury's still out on that one).
We welcomed eight inch heels, spikes and bags that you could keep the entire contents of your house in.
WHAT is going on in the world? Word reaches us that one of this year's must-have gifts for little girls is this Vera Wang Bride Barbie.

HOW much do I want a pair of these fabulous slippers.
They look so toasty and cosy don't they?
The slippers are part of a new range of clothing and accessories called Bedroom Athletics (oo-er missus!).

AFTER months of waiting with bated breath, Sex and the City designer Patricia Field's collection is finally arriving in Marks & Spencer stores this week.
Liverpool will get the stock on Thursday and we have been told to expect polka dots, stars, stripes, animal print and traditional florals in silks, georgettes, metallics and stretch satins.
THE ubiquitous floral dress - every spring, before the daffodils have even poked their heads above the frosty ground, they appear in the shops.
