Sunflower Seeds artist Ai Weiwei invites questions from Tate Modern visitors

AS PART of his Sunflower Seeds installation at Tate Modern, Chinese artist Ai Weiwei has been inviting visitors to record a video - either asking him a question or answering a question he has posed.

So far 11,500 people have asked him a question, on subjects ranging from his experience of house arrest to what he thinks of their break dancing (cue demonstration).

This is a video of just a few. . .

You have until May 2 to ask your own question - if you're lucky that is. I couldn't get anywhere near the recording machines when I went to see the installation.

And don't forget, we had our very own Ai Weiwei work right here - for the Liverpool Biennial in 2008.
