Allan Brown

Allan Brown

Marketing and press officer at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), Allan Brown studied at Liverpool Community College from 1998 to 1999 before starting work as a newspaper journalist. Next came several years in public relations followed by a period in Chile, where he wrote, taught and, later, translated. He joined LIPA in 2009.

An exhibition coordinator and freelance arts writer, Linda moved to Liverpool in 2003 to study for a BA (Hons) Fine Art at Liverpool School of Art and went on to gain an in MA Museum Studies from St Andrew's University in 2010. Ian D Hall

Ian D Hall

Ian was brought up in Birmingham and spent the vast majority of his teenage years in Bicester, near Oxford. He travelled round America and Canada in his 20s and moved to Liverpool in 2004. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in English Literature.

Biography
QUSO are the student-run orchestra of Queen's University Belfast. Formed in 2007 by a small group of students, it has excelled ever since, consisting of around 60 students from various subject areas throughout the University.

The orchestra aims to perform challenging works to a high standard, with highlights of previous years including Tchaikovsky's Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Symphonies as well as Sibelius's Third Symphony. For full details of previous concerts, visit our website:www.quso.society.qub.ac.uk
