By Laura Davis on Feb 11, 09 04:49 PM

billellis-1.jpgLIVERPOOL photographer E Chambre Hardman has so many admirers but few have had the opportunity to meet him.

Bill Ellis, 79, the oldest volunteer room guide at Mr Hardman's Photographic Studio, at 59 Rodney Street, knew its famous resident when he was a fellow member of the Liverpool Amateur Photographic Association. Some of his own photographs are below.

What a fascinating read about Bill Ellis. Like Bill, I've long been an admirer of Chambre Hardman and have attempted (and failed!) to shoot in the stlye of the master. if you read this Bill, I'd love to see some of your work.
