Slideshow of images of John Lennon's Woolton

By Laura Davis on Nov 4, 09 11:47 PM

I'VE put together a slideshow of photographs my grandfather took of Woolton in the 1950s that I'm using as the basis of a feature in the Daily Post about what the town was really like when John Lennon was growing up there.

I'm hoping it will stir some memories and that people who lived there at around the same time, and who would like to be included in the feature, will get in touch.

You might even spot someone you recognise...

Hi Eileen, Thanks for your message. Yes, Rosie is my auntie. I'll be sure to tell her I've heard from you. It's lovely to hear from someone who knew my family. Laura
